I don't know what it is but our love for chicken wings seems to grow and grow every year - and I can see what all the hype is about. They are delicious, tasty, filling, messy and satisfy all those hunger pangs every single time. Here are my Top 3 Picks by a million miles.

1. O Connells, Howth
If you have not tried the wings in here then you have not lived. They are by far the most amazing wings I have ever tasted. They are not ranked the highest online, but they are definitely under rated. Served in a big, deep bowl you get plenty. One serving is enough to do you for a main meal, or you could get one to share for starters. The sauce is a hot a spicy sauce, It is like a creamier, milder version of Franks hot sauce, so the flavor is just so amazing. It comes with a nice serving of blue cheese dip - which is not too over powering but a nice flavor to cool your mouth down - My belly is rumbling at the thought of them!! YUMMY

2. Elephant & Castle, Temple Bar
If you are a small eater, that can't handle a lot of food then I would not really recommend this place for wings, because my god they come served in hundreds. When I plan to eat here, I will always make sure to wear something stretchy because chances are you will leave looking 5 months pregnant (This goes for the men too).
The wings from here are up there with the best. They are nice and big with lots of meat on them. They are served drowned in spicy sauce, but again not too spicy that you will nearly blow up & the blue cheese dip is AMAZING.

3. The Cock & Bull, Raheny/Coolock
With a lot of variety and many delicious flavours the wings from the cock and bull Raheny or Coolock make it into the top 3 on my list. I think there is 7 different flavours to choose from, ranging in different heats to match your taste buds. My personal favourite from here are the Buffalo wings. They come smothered in an amazing buffalo sauce, but they do not lose that famous 'chicken wing' flavour. You can get these in a small or large serving. Small is definitely small enough for a starter but the large wings have a fair amount in them. This is one of my regular pubs to go to and I don't think there has been a time I didn't enjoy it. If you have not been yet, then I suggest you venture and give them a bash.
I hope you all enjoyed this little blog post as much as I enjoy chicken wings :)
Lots of Love
