WHY?

When is the last time we took our big noses out of our phones and thanked the old lady who held the door open for us?

When is the last time we had a conversation with our friends/family without it being interrupted by a text or a notification?

When is the last time we stopped and looked at ourselves in the mirror without the need to take a selfie?

Why have we been taking interest in peoples lives when we don't even know them, yet we would happily go 3 months without seeing an aunty or a cousin?

Why have we been watching someone else get fit and healthy, yet we still abuse our bodies with alcohol, cigarettes & crap food?

Why have we created a false form of positivity for others to see, yet deep down we are struggling?

Why are we asking ourselves questions like this?

These questions come to my mind on a regular basis, but I am guilty of doing everything that I have questioned society about. I personally love a bit of social media - Instagram, YouTube, snapchat, blogging you name it and I'm obsessed with it, I mean who doesn't love a good selfie aye??

I suppose the over all question that I am trying to get at is....

Have we taken our love for social media too far?

Should we take it down a notch or two?

I don't think there is a 'right' or 'wrong' answer to this but I would love to hear your thoughts!

Lots of Love&Laughs,

Tammy
