DON'T GET RIPPED OFF - ONLINE SHOPPING TIP

Girls if you are like me and you like to do quite a lot of shopping online, then please please please take this on board when you are doing so!

Most of the popular clothing companies are based in the UK. This could be Boohoo, Missguided, Asos, prettylittlething and many more, so naturally enough their prices are set in POUNDS.

BUT - they do give you the option to change the currency to EURO which we think is so handy cause we live in Ireland - but what we don't know is that we are being ripped off to bits when its converted.

I did a bit of research on the ASOS website, and picked out the most random pair of jeans that cost £30.00 (a nice even number) - when converted to Euro on the site , it works out at €40.54.

However, when you use the google currency converter it shows us that it should really only work out at €32.45 (give or take a couple of cent depending on the rates at that time).

Below are the jeans at there original price:

Here is the price in euros:

This is the ACTUAL currency exchange rate:

Don't get me wrong, I still love every one of these brands!! - but just in future, buy your clothes in sterling. It will be a lot kinder to your bank account especially when you are ordering a bunch of stuff!!

I hope this helps :)

Lots of Love

Tammy
